In the interests of supporting local growers a lot of the fruit comes from Roxburgh, mostly from Rosedale Orchard.

We're seeing a rapid transition from stonefruit to pipfruit - this week we have quinces, apples, pears from Rosedale Orchard and nashi (and still some feijoas!) from Earnscleugh organic co-operative. The citrus fruit direct from Gisborne will be starting again soon(early June in fact).

The good news is that the price per kg will remain constant - a set price of $7.50 a kg for the year will cover fluctuations in price as we've gone from stonefruit and soft fruit through pip fruit and then later into citrus.
