Afghan Saddle Bag—Behnam

An attractive antique saddle bag from the Balouch people of South West Afghanistan.

It is hand-knotted and has a soft pile on the front side with flat weave on the back side. Has the original opening at the top and could be stuffed to make a cushion, used as a decorative wall hanging or table centre piece.
