Oushak Runner—Faraj

Faraj is a Turkish Patchwork Oushak Runner.

This runner has been made out of pieces of vintage Oushak rugs that have been arranged in a horizontal patchwork style (an art in itself) then stitched together in blanket stitch, using a super strong thread; 50% cotton, 50% non-flammable polyester.

This runner has been backed with a strong latex to hold it together so it is very strong and durable and can handle high traffic hallways.
