This is a beautifully handmade wooden ladle, made from sustainably harvested Teak wood

Each of these ladles  is individually made. You can see the love and care that has gone into each, how they have spent time making the wood perfectly smooth by hand sanding 5 separate times, in the way that the grain in the wood has been brought to the fore.  Something beautiful for your kitchen.

This beautifully handmade kitchen utensil, is made  from sustainably harvested Teak wood. Teak is a wood that is very hard , very durable and is highly valued. This ladle can be used in hot soups, broths and curries, heat is not a problem. Unlike metal utensils it will not transmit heat, and being natural wood it will not leach any chemicals into your food.

The ladle is 34 cm long, the handle is 2.5 cm wide and the head is 7 cm's wide.

There are no chemicals or lacquers or dyes used in making this, it is only the natural wood, so it is completely food safe. Handwash only and make sure it dries before storing it away, and if needed it can be re-oiled from time to time with a food safe oil. 

This is individually handcrafted. The purchase of it helps maintain a village and the surrounding environment, enabling skills to be learnt and passed on.
