Our contemporary korowai are usually worn during significant occasions like graduations, hui, and tangi. Korowai embody respect, prestige, and stories of whakapapa (genealogy). Our modern korowai, handmade in Auckland, feature machine-stitched chicken and rooster feathers on a lined fabric base, offering durability and a wide range of colors inspired by New Zealand's fauna and flora.

Each piece includes adjustable drawstring ties for a customizable fit and the taniko trim showcases the Manaia design typically representing a guardian figure, symbolizing protection for those who wear or display it.
