100% Tempranillo from vines with an average age of 15 years, fermented in steel and aged for 4 months in French and American oak. Lighter in style and super easy drinking.

Coloured like a Pinot Noir abundant aromatic cherry and strawberry opening to cranberry, cacao and coconut. Smoky plum and slightly dusty dry tannins to finish. Excellent for the money.

Montebuena is a major co-op winery in the Alavesa sub-region of Rioja, making modern styles of Rioja from old and well established vineyards.
