"Impenetrable inky black heart with a deep dark purple black hue. Lifted ripe dark plum and liquorice scents are trailed by vanillin oak, hints of mocha and spice. Rich and plush the palate is flooded with spicy dark plum and liquorice fruits which overlay toasty vanillin oak, earth and confectionary characters. Velvet smooth tannins with a ripe fleshy conclusion. Drink over the next 4-5 years. ​ drinking. At its best: now to 2028." 

Pirathon Blue is medium bodied with notes of blueberry, floral, spice and juicy red fruits. Perfectly balanced with soft tannins and subtle oak complexity. A delightful Barossa Shiraz.

The grapes were harvested from the low-yielding vineyards of traditional family growers across the Barossa Valley. Each vineyard adds its own exclusive dimension to Pirathon Shiraz and combined they produce the ultimate blend. Classy stuff here for the money.
