Lapilli Falanghina Beneventano IGT 2023

Ripe, exotic, weighty and balanced, the relatively unknown Falanghina grape has garnered many fans in recent years for its curious complexion and brilliant price point. The Lapilli Falanghina is the perfect introduction to the variety, offering all of its fascinating typicities. If you can imagine pleasant banana aromas, accompanied by honeyed peach and lemon juice then you come close to the nose on this Falanghina.

Despite the ripe fruit aromas, the wine is not sweet or even overly fruity on the palate, it’s balanced with a smooth bit of weight and lovely refreshing finish. Strong nectarine and white melon flavours are weaved with honeycomb and banana, with a bright citrus edge. This is a great aperitif wine, or excellent paired with vegetarian starters and even some light fish
