a medium-leaved cultivar that performs well in the majority of ryegrass clover mixes across a wide range of different soil fertility levels. It is known to have limited winter growth and is suited to irrigated systems. Huia has a particularly high nitrogen-fixing capacity and provides good quality feed all year around. Huia provides great animal performance maintaining quality in late spring and summer when grass becomes less palatable.
