Kūmarahou is an important and versatile traditional Māori rongoā used as a general tonic to treat chest complaints; coughs, colds, bronchitis, asthma, arthritis, menstrual pain, blood purification and liver cleansing.
The expectorant properties of Kūmarahou make her an excellent rongoā to clear the lungs - she will loosen the mucous.
Kūmarahou is a vulnerary rongoā, and is also effective for soothing and healing skin irritations, sores, wounds and rashes.
Our Kūmarahou is wild harvested in Te Whanganui-a-Tara.
