Aotearoa has 4, 7, or more species of copper butterfly - more research is needed! Adult copper butterflies have copper and black markings and can range in size from 17-35mm. Their eggs are laid on the underside of pōhuehue/muehlenbeckia species where their small green caterpillars reside. See these beauties flying close to the ground in the summer months.

100% natural cotton, off-white tea towels are screened with our great range of designs. 51 x 76 cm. Each tea towel is hand-printed using water based inks (heat cured to last!).
