Once found all over North Island of NZ, declining to a single population, then having multiple successful translocations – the success of hihi depends on many committed conservationists.
Male hihi look the most impressive - with movable white ear tufts on their jet-black heads and a bright yellow strip of feathers on their chests.

100% natural cotton, off-white tea towels are screened with our great range of designs. 51 x 76 cm. Each tea towel is hand-printed using water based inks (heat cured to last!).
