Pounamu Pendant Koru

This stunning Koru Pounamu (greenstone) pendant has been carved by Kerry Thompson (Ngati Paoa) and Amanda Thompson (Nga Puhi). The Koru design is inspired by one of New Zealand’s most sacred symbols of nature, the silver fern. The fern begins life in a spiral shape before it fully matures. Much like the young fern, the koru design represents nature, new life or new beginnings. It comes on a black braided cord, with a loop and carved bone toggle clasp.
