Palm-Free BTMS

(Behentrimonium Methosulfate) is a strong conditioning agent and emulsifier. contains no Cetyl Alcohol or other fatty alcohols, which routinely derived from Palm Oil. BTMS is derived from vegetable oils such as canola/rapeseed, coconut or sunflower. Typical use rates are 1/3 - 1/4 the amount that you would normally use BTMS-25 at, so this products is extremely cost effective. Use level is 0.5- 5% depending on the type of product being made and function; lower levels are used if BTMS is being used as an emulsifier (0.5 - 4%) and higher levels for conditioning (1 - 5%).
Common uses include;
Hand & Nail Creams BTMS is particularly good for deep conditioning hand and nail creams
Face and Body Creams BTMS can be used to make creams and lotions, as the main emulsifier
Exfoliants and scrubs Emulsifier and suspending agent for face and body scrubs
Haircare Main emulsifier and conditioner for hair conditioners, masques and treatments
