Sodium Citrate

the sodium salt of Citric acid, and acts as a buffer, a mild alkali, and anti-oxidant and enhances preservatives.
It is useful in dishwash, laundry powder and liquid formulas, also in floor cleaner and spray and wipe formulations, especially to replace phosphates.
Also commonly added to foodstuffs, personal care and some soap formulations.
