Just in time for Christmas, this bigos is both nutritious and delicious.

Bigos is made of stewed cabbage and sauerkraut with added spices, tomato paste, some dry mushrooms. It's very rich and goes really well with a grilled smoked sausage and mashed potatoes or a slice of fresh sourdough bread.
