Tim is a carver local to Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland in Aotearoa / New Zealand.

Tekoteko is a carved human form which is either the whole body or head, either freestanding or attached to the gable of a whare.

When found on a Marae they would have been likely carved to depict a certain tipuna or ancestors who had a significant influence to the Hapu or Iwi.

This tekoteko is a beautiful addition to any space - domestic or commercial.
