This exclusive contemporary throw is designed by Melanie-Jane Smith (Ngāti Porou), inspired by traditional Māori cloaks. Beautifully woven by Stansborough in Wellington on beautiful old looms from the 1890s. The Stansborough grey wool is luxurious, sustainable, traceable, New Zealand-made, & chemical free. Each throw has been hand-knotted with embellishing black, white, or red woolen threads.

100% New Zealand Wool, this throw will keep you warm all year round - outside on a summer’s evening & inside on a cold winter’s day. Lightweight, soft, & luxurious, & comes packaged in a presentation box.

About Stansborough:
A Wairarapa farm, operating out of a mill in Petone, Wellington New Zealand – Stansborough creates heritage woven products from the grey wool of their unique breed of Stansborough Grey sheep.
