SolarMAX MH Bulbs

SolarMAX Metal Halide (MH) bulbs emit more blue light spectrum which is great for leaf formation and closer inter-nodal spaces, this makes for a more compact plant.

These MH bulbs run on both HPS and MH ballasts. They are ideal for keeping mother plants in a vegetative state, ideal for raising cuttings and using throughout the vegetative stage.

Instructions:

- MH bulbs CANNOT be dimmed if using a digital dimmable ballast
- The bulb wattage must match the ballast wattage. ie. only use a 600w bulb in a 600w ballast, then dim that bulb to desired setting. DO NOT put a 400w bulb into a 600w ballast on the 400w dimmed setting
- MH bulbs can sometimes take up to 5 minutes before they ignite.
