Autopot Inline Tap / Lateral valve

Autopot In-line taps are a very useful Autopot system accessory. They can be inserted in-line just after the connection to the water reservoirs allowing you to turn off the water supply if you need to undertake any maintenance or when mixing in your nutrients.

These taps can also be added to the end of a layout so that now and again you can open the tap and allow the lines to be flushed, removing a sediment or lime scale build-up that might occur over time. This will only take a couple of minutes and only needs to be done every couple of weeks.

NB: The 4mm tap is for the pre August 2020 Autopot systems, the 6mm tap is for the latest Autopot systems.

Tips:

- Lateral pipe is referred to by its inside diameter (ID)
- Lateral fittings are inserted inside the lateral pipe
- Ratchet Clips are required for lateral fittings
- Lateral fittings have a single barb
- To assist in installation, use boiling/hot water to soften the pipe
