The Pounamu disk or Porowhita symbolises the never-ending circle of life and nature, bringing together the head, hands and heart in one’s action.

Pounamu or Greenstone is regarded as a stone sacred to the gods by the Māori of New Zealand. As a Taonga -meaning treasured, and it should be displayed with respect and pride. Pounamu is a gift from the heart.
