Turmeric has been used in Asia for thousands of years. Commonly used as a spice in Asian, Indian, African, Persian cuisine & curries, also used for dyeing & to impart colour to mustard condiments.

Curcumin is the main active ingredient in turmeric. It has powerful anti-inflammatory effects & is a very strong antioxidant.

In Ayurvedic practices, turmeric has been used to treat a variety of internal disorders, such as indigestion, throat infections, common colds, or liver ailments, as well as topically to cleanse wounds or treat skin sores.
