Reduction | Sculpture | by Nathan Ingram

Seen in Ingram's solo exhibition; Nowhere to Hide. The ceramic works in this collection extend the artist's exploration of chance and order seen in their paintings. Rippled textures mirror gestural movements, casting dramatic shadows, while other pieces emphasise proportion and structure, embracing a more reductive approach. Glossy and matte finishes create a contrast, reminiscent of the layered textures in the artist's glass and collage paintings. Each ceramic piece has a counterpart, reinforcing the sense of connectivity throughout the collection.
