Pounamu - Large Toki Pendant
The Toki design originates from the axe head which was used to chip, carve and hollow out wood & sometimes used as a weapon.
Representing strength, determination and courage in times of adversity. To wear a Toki is a great honour and was traditionally worn by Maori elders.
New Zealand Greenstone sourced from the Arahura River, West Coast of the South Island. Each piece is unique and individual, no two pieces are the same. Beautifully hand carved in Greymouth, South Island, New Zealand.
Approximate measurements - L x 10.2 x W 3.8 cm.
Adjustable cord to suit what length you prefer.
Made from Greenstone and carved in New Zealand.
