Porae

Big lips are easy to identify, not only because they do have big lips but due to the long thin spine that protrudes from the Pectoral fin almost as far as the tail. This specimen was in great condition when I photographed it, due to the fact that it was line-caught.

How this image was created: Digital illustrations using layered photographic images allow for total control, I love to create images with a visual narrative. The a great looking fish and worked well with the textured background and texture overlays.
