New Zealand Crayfish

This image of a so sharp that it looks as if could crawl out of the frame. I created the image in a darkened studio and painted the cray with multiple flashes from a low angle. When satisfied with the way it looked I clear cut the cray and layered it onto a plate that I had sprayed a matt black. The resulting image received a gold award at the 2018 NZIPP Nikon Iris awards
