Lemon balm is a valuble herbal remedy for its nervine and relaxant properties. It has a small amount of volatile oil, usually more abundant when picked fresh. However the dried plant is used medicinally. It is an aromatic herb, with a pleasant lemon aroma and grows easily in gardens. It also has carminative effects on the stomach and intestine & its relaxant effects are beneficial for sleep, anxiety & relaxation.
