Psyllium hulls are a form of soluble fibre which helps to hold water in the digestive tract. Psyllium hulls are an easy source of fibre which you can add to muesli, breads or take in water. Be sure to drink straight away as the hulls form a gel after some time has passed. This is the soluble fibre in action. Psyllium, when taken daily will soften the stools and provide fodder to the army of bacteria working for you inside your gut.
