PLAY WAND WITH LONG PLAY SILK ~ STAR OR MOON ~ FORAGED & FOUND

We adore these new play wands with long play silk attached. So many uses for imaginative play!

This special play piece has been created using naturally dyed merino wool felt, New Zealand wool stuffing, a long naturally dyed play silk and locally foraged (and sanitised) driftwood.

This wand is perfect for dancing, twirling and imaginative play. Enjoyed by many ages from babies to young children, and even adults!

The long play silk is detachable, allowing for further imaginative play. You will be amazed how many uses little imaginations can find for them.

Materials: 100% merino wool felt, 100% wool stuffing, 100% silk, sanitised driftwood.

Wand is approximately 35cm long.

Silk (when removed from the wand) measures approximately 23 x 137cm.

Caring for your naturally dyed play-silk

Gently hand wash in lukewarm water using a mild detergent and cool iron. Please do not dry clean as the chemicals used will destroy the dyes. Botanically dyed textiles, like all fabrics, will fade over time if left in direct sunlight. Natural dyes are sensitive to citric acids (found in lemons, grapefruit, oranges, tomatoes ) which will ‘bleach’ the fibres.
