ELSA BESKOW ~ CHILDREN OF THE FOREST ~ MEMORY GAME

Here at Tanglewood Toys we have long been admirers of the beautiful illustrations and stories from Elsa Beskow. She is one of the most popular childrens illustrator in Sweden, where her picture books have been known and loved for over a century. (1874-1953)

This fun memory game is all about finding and forming pairs of the 32 cards all of which have beautiful illustrations from Elsa Beskow's beloved book Children of the Forest.

Exercises both memory and motor skills for the younger ones, and the lovely pictures can inspire fun follow-up talks, games and playtime.

HOW TO PLAY

Mix all game tiles and lay them facing down. Players take turn pulling any two cards at a time. If the two cards match, keep them. If they don't match, turn them back over. Watch and remember during the other player's turn. The game is over when all the cards have been matched.
