Choose From: The Adventurer's Edition
This kit is the perfect starter pack for people wanting to find hidden gems of the beaten track, while exploring their backyard. And yes, you can play it anywhere in the world.
It contains 26 “misdirection cards" which give you random directions to (things like turn left, follow a blue car, head in the direction the wind is blowing) to get you being mindfully random in your exploration.
Everybody Edition
The Getting Lost Games are played by everybody and we know that not everybody looks the same. We know that not everybody can read yet, or has the same mobility, or sees colours and words the same, or processes information the same.
That means that Getting Lost games aren’t the best they can be for everybody. So the Everybody Edition of the Getting Lost Game was born. It’s the most popular edition - The Adventurers Edition - re-imagined to remove barriers so it is truly accessible to everybody.
The Everybody Edition is also great for smaller children who are not yet reading and need visual clues instead to enable them to be the reader.
There is not a single card that hasn’t been touched. Want to see what’s different?
- Re-imagined cards that assume a level of mobility
- Made the font 14
- Changed font to a dyslexic font
- Reduced unnecessary words
- Removed visual clutter
- Added visual cues to all cards
- Re-imagined cards that require hearing
- Added a card to allow for breaks
- Added cards to reward businesses who cater for those with different accessibility needs Te Tipi Haere – the te reo Māori Edition
Introducing the Te Reo Edition of The Getting Lost Game – the original Adventurers Edition – but now in both te reo Māori and English.
With the 26 misdirection cards in te reo Māori on one side and English on the other side you’ll have everything you need to get off devices and exploring untravelled paths while improving your te reo Māori.
This kit is the perfect starter pack for people wanting to find hidden gems off the beaten track, while exploring their backyard. "Misdirection Cards" give you random directions (things like turn left, follow a blue car, head in the direction the wind is blowing) to get you being mindfully random in your exploration.
It’s a brilliant way to bring te reo Māori into your everyday life as you learn the different direction cards. The At Home Edition
The At Home Edition of the Getting Lost Game gives you things to do around home on the days you can't get out and get lost!
Featuring 30 awesome activities that you can do around your home or garden the Getting Lost At Home Edition is purposefully nostalgic with loads of low-cost things you can do with what’s in your house right now. And best of all – they are off devices. Camper Edition
The Getting Lost Camper Edition is a stand alone Getting Lost Game with 26 misdirection cards to help you create new adventures, have a laugh and discover new places in your Camper, Van, House Truck, RV, Caravan or other house on wheels. The directions are generic so they can be played in what ever country you are in around the world.
Your direction, distance and stops will be based on the way the wind is blowing, the age of your passengers, waves you get, signs, road-kill, cars that pass you, your odometer and a whole bunch of other random things.
It’s designed with distance in mind to get you out and camped up at some amazing spots. Keep going until you get the “ stop for the night in the next freedom camping or camp-ground you see " card. The Good Advice
