Leaf Skeleton Earrings

These lightweight up-cycled glass earrings will remind you of leaves in the breeze, with the transparency of the glass beautifully suited to show off the delicate, lacy Leaf Skeleton design which is kiln-fused to the surface. Iron in the design gives it the reddish colouring.

A leaf skeleton is simply the left over structure of a leaf once the outer layer and pulpy part of the leaf have decomposed under the right conditions. All thats left is the veins in all their fragile and exquisite beauty, no longer sustaining the life of the leaf.
