The Grave Warrior - Brass Sextet Featuring Bass Trombone

An original piece for brass sextet which features the Bass trombone. It's not exactly a solo but a piece in which the Bass trombone is highlighted and should be dominant.

Dedicated to Andrew Lile, former Coldstream Guardsman, New Zealand Navy Musician, and all round 'nice guy', the work takes its title from the 17th century meaning of the word "Grave" - meaning low in tone or pitch and the word "Warrior" deriving from a Greek translation of "Andrew".
