Super Dukkah

The word Dukkah, originating in Egypt, comes from the Egyptian-Arabic word for “to pound" or “to crush", which is how the blend is made. Traditionally dukkah is a mixture of whole spices, nuts, seeds, and salt that are pounded in a mortar and pestle to achieve a coarse, crunchy texture.
Using hemp hearts as a replacement, we’ve been able to make our Dukkah nut-free! This lets us have that nutty texture and flavour without the need for nuts - making our blend a SUPER DUKKAH! Use as you would any quality dukkah with fresh bread and olive oil, or level up and enhance your salads, crumb coatings, or stuffing mix.
