This genuine Ngai Tahu Pounamu 20cm (8") Mere is made from greenstone from Hokitika, and is made there too.

The mere comes with an ID card that gives you access to a website where you can see the raw stone and find out who has carved it.

Give it on its own, or on a stand. The stand can be engraved to mark a special occasion. Or take the wrist loop off, add a neck cord, and you have a stunning necklace.

You can have the stand engraved, either a gold plaque on the front edge of the stand, laser engraved into the wood, or paua engraved into the wood. There is also the option to do more engraving on the back of the stand. Up to 5 words per side, which you can enter in the engraving box (this opens up when you choose an engraving option). Engraving takes 3-4 business days. Please note that engraved items cannot be returned, aside for the unlikely event that the engraving has been done wrong.
