Maori Tiki Good Luck Trophy

This fabulous Maori Tiki Good Lucky Trophy is a great trophy for all sorts of prizegivings as well as a birthday gift. Sports teams, academic awards, even gifts for colleagues leaving a business or school.

The Maori Tiki represents the first born man, created by Tane, the god of Forests and Men. It is believed to be a symbol of good luck, as well as a fertility symbol.

In this contemporary representation of a tiki, the tilted head symbolises clear thinking, the hands indicate strength, the mouth means communication, and the loins symbolise fertility.

The Maori Tiki Trophy stands approximately 25cm (10") tall. The base measures approximately 12cm x 6cm (4 3/4" x 2 3/8"). It is crafted from plantation grown hardwood and embellished with paua shell. It comes to you in an attractive box, ready to give or receive.
