NZ Sheepskin Scuffs with Maori Koru Trim

These Sheepskin Scuffs with Maori Koru Trim are proudly made in New Zealand, by a company with over 50 years in the trade, so they really know their stuff!

The scuffs are made from the whole sheepskin fleece, so you get the sueded skin on the outside and the sheepskin fleece inside.

The base of the foot is also sheepskin fleece, on top of a wedge shape EVA rubber slip-resistant sole.

So you can wear these scuffs indoors and outdoors - a bonus if you want to dash outside in the wintertime.

At the top edge of the scuffs is a knitted trim with a Maori kowhaiwhai (rafter) design, incorporating many Koru. The Koru is a Maori design element representing the unfurling new fern shoot. Maori designs carry spiritual meanings, and in the case of the Koru, it signifies peace, tranquility, positive change, and new beginnings. How lovely to think of peace and tranquility when you put these slippers on, not to mention warmth and comfort!

The scuffs have a raised edge at the back to help keep your feet in place, for greater stability.
