Maori Kowhaiwhai Headband

This traditionally worn by members of Maori kapa haka groups, as part of the dancing and singing costume.

The headband is made to fit all head sizes, as it has an elastic band at the back.

The band is approximately 25mm (1") wide.

The woven design, in red and white on a black background, mimics the kowhaiwhai designs found on the rafters of Maori meeting houses.
