Beautiful Maori Design Gold Nail Transfers

These Maori Design Gold Nail Transfers are perfect for making your nails fit a special occasion. Great for your wedding day, graduation or other special occasion. Choose your base nail gel colour, then put the nail transfer over top, to give that gold design.

The pack of 12 professional nail foils contains 3 designs:

1. Kowhaiwhai: This design was inspired by patterns that traditionally adorn the rafters of wharenui (Māori meeting houses). This kōwhaiwhai pattern combines the koru and koiri in a design that represents the fluidity of life through growth, change, reflection and expansion.

2. Nga Mihi o te Tau Hou: The key components of this design are the Whetū (star) and Poutama (stepped pattern). The Poutama pattern symbolises levels of advancement, achievement and the fulfilling of potential. Poutama patterns also symbolise the stairway to heaven or the higher realms. The Whetū are arranged so they can be easily customised to represent whatever you resonate with most.

3. Hinemoana: This design reflects the serene beauty and majestic strength of the seas, inspired by Hinemoana, goddess (atua) of the ocean.

Note re the photos: The first photo shows the designs and the pack. We don't currently have a photo of the design on nails, so the second photo shows you other gold designs on different base colours, so you can see how gold shows up against other colours.

How to apply:

1. Apply an even coat of your favourite foil gel over cured gel polish or enhancements. Cure. Allow to cool for at least 20 seconds.

2. Cut selected design from transfer film and place onto nail (colour side facing up).

3. Rub firmly over the entire design, starting from the centre and working your way outwards.

4. Slowly peel back the film. If any areas were missed, simply press the film back into place and rub again to transfer remaining foil.

5. Optional: gently buff the free edge and cap with acid-free primer. Highly recommended for full cover designs.

6. Seal with a coat of Base Gel or Builder Gel. Cure. Finish with your favourite Top Coat. Cure.
