Purple and Jade Short Maori Korowai

This perfect for over top of other garments that you don't want hidden, as would happen with a full korowai.

This korowai, or kahu huruhuru to be exact, is made by a Maori lady of Ngati Porou descent. She learned the art of making korowai from a Northland kuia.

It has a Purple, Black and White knitted taniko top, with purple and jade coloured feathers below. If you want different coloured feathers, let us know. You can choose different coloured feathers here.

The taniko has a patiki design, which spiritually means abundance, prosperity, and care of others.

This korowai measures approximately 1m wide, and 20cm (8") deep. It is lined with black fabric.
