Antique Victorian brooch - Pinch-back (16982)

Antique brooch made from pinchbeck featuring three Golden Citrines. Beautifully made and in fantastic condition for the age, it is missing a very small part of the metal at the top of the design, also at some point it has had a small weld on the back that hasn't held -see photos Otherwise its a beauty.

Measures 57mm L x 45mm H

Pinchbeck is a form of brass, an alloy of copper and zinc mixed in proportions so that it closely resembles gold.
