A keepsake box, it features a contemporary engraved design of the "Mangopare" (Hammerhead Shark), inspired by the painted rafter patterns seen in meeting houses throughout Aotearoa. In Māori culture, the Mangopare stands as a symbol of strength, resilience, and determination, embodying the spirit of leadership and guardianship.
