Looking for a sustainable way to wrap gifts? Furoshiki, the traditional Japanese art of fabric wrapping, offers a reusable and time-honoured alternative to paper and plastic. A versatile craft, it can be used for carrying shopping and other items, decoration, and in emergency situations. You’ll learn all about the fascinating traditions and customs associated with this craft and discover how to wrap boxes, books, and bottles using fabric. Ayumi will guide you through various knots and techniques to create beautiful, thoughtful wraps. At the end, you’ll take home your own reusable fabric wrap, perfect for your next special gift or picnic.

- All materials will be provided.
- Please feel free to bring any unusual shaped objects that you would like to learn how to wrap in this workshop.
- This workshop is for adults.
Cancellation
Bookings are non-refundable. If for any reason (this includes illness, travel delays and injuries) you need to cancel your workshop, you will receive a refund minus a $30 administration fee. This is provided you at least 14 full days before your booking.
