- Sunday 31 August: 1pm-3pm
- Sunday 23 November: 1pm-3pm
Did you know that felting is the oldest known way to make fabric? In this 2-hour workshop, you’ll explore the ancient art of felting to create a beautiful and functional felt bowl from natural, un-dyed Aotearoa wool. Using just wool, soap, and water, you’ll learn this simple practice that requires no machines or chemicals. Once you’ve mastered the process, you’ll have the skills and confidence to continue felting at home, unlocking endless possibilities for creating beautiful, handmade pieces.
Please note:
- Please bring one towel. It is a good idea to bring a spare bag for your towel and bowl as they may still be wet after the workshop.
- All other materials and tools will be provided.
- This workshop is suitable for adults.
