These New Zealand grown Yellow Split Lentils (aka. Toor Dal / Pigeon Peas) are the most widely used form of lentil used in Indian cooking.

Quick and easy to cook, Toor dal has a deliciously nutty, slightly sweet flavour which pairs beautifully with basmati rice. Toor dahl contains good levels of protein and dietary fibre.
