Zinc oxide is widely used for a variety of skin conditions, in products such as baby powder and in barrier creams/balms for diaper rashes, calamine cream, anti-dandruff shampoos, and antiseptic ointments.
Because zinc oxide is not absorbed into the skin, it is non-irritating, non-allergenic, and non-comedogenic. Our meets the strict requirements of the British Pharmacopeia.
Particle Size: 53micons (300 mesh)
This product is not micronised or nano-ised. These grades are recommended for sunscreen applications and so this product may not perform adequately on its own as a UV filter. Please seek professional advice if developing a sunscreen product.
