BioGuard effectively cleans chlorinator cells of scale deposits and other material without damaging the cell. It is important to maintain the salt cell to improve efficiency and prolong the life of the cell.

Salt cells will develop scale faster if the pH isn’t managed properly in the swimming pool. Test and adjust your pH regularly to ensure your pH is in range. Usage of Salt Pool Stain and Scale will reduce the rate at which scale builds up in the pool and on the salt cell.

Follow the instructions on the bottle carefully and never use anything to scrape the plates of the salt cell as this will damage the cell.
