BioGuard used when you need to decrease the amount of chlorine or bromine in the pool water. This is a common problem when chlorinators are set to run too high or for too long or following the clean up of a green pool.

The granules are added directly to the pool and will rapidly decrease the concentration of chlorine or bromine. Take care not to overdose this product as it can make it difficult to maintain a chlorine residual when overdosed. Multiple doses are often needed when chlorine levels are very high as accurate testing is problematic due to bleaching of testing reagents casued by the high chlorine or bromine.
