Funky Ficus - Ficus microcarpa - 1L / 14cm / Small

Each Ficus microcarpa is entirely unique but are all stylised along the same broad shape of chunky exposed roots so you can purchase with assurance that you'll get a healthy plant similar to the one in the picture. Keep under cover outdoors away from frosts or place in bright indirect light indoors where your Ficus can see plenty of blue sky out a window.

Light Requirements: Bright Indirect Light is essential, can handle gentle part-day Sun

Moisture & Soil Requirements: Prefers evenly moist soil with good drainage in warm seasons - never soggy soil. Water when the first few centimetres of soil are dry but these are remarkably tough and can handle short dry spells.

Growth & Nutrients: Tree /shrub. Aggressive roots, will fill up nearly any container, keep away from water pipes outside. Prune to shape to encourage bushier growth or choose a new shape to stylise to your liking. Suits medium to large apartments or houses of any size. Feed with a general-purpose fertiliser for containers from the start of spring each year to autumn when growth slows down.

Temperature, Humidity & Ambient requirements: Prefers warm humid environments inside but can deal with most home environments. Grows well outdoors in frost-free northern

Toxicity: Moderately toxic. Don't let anyone or anything eat it. The sap is a skin irritant so do not touch.
