Kawakawa is a New Zealand native plant that has been used for centuries by Maori. The leaves are sustainability harvested here in Nelson, dried and the medicinal constituents extracted into organic olive oil, a process that takes four weeks. The kawakawa extract is blended with organic beeswax and coconut oil to thicken, making an easy to apply healing salve.
